The Pit is a video installation showing two short videos in front of one another: the first is an infrared mute recording of a crowd during a concert, a mosh pit where bodies intertwine. The second focuses on a young woman in the middle of a concert audience. When nobody seems to be dancing, she nods her head to the beat of the music, apparently drunk. The use of slow motion and zoom decomposes the image and focuses on the expression of sensual pleasure on her face.
